“It was a good tour. At our last stop at Pingvellir National Park I thought we could have had a little bit more time but we had some other people on our tour that had delayed the start so not sure if that is why we had a little less time. I liked the secret lagoon and it was a nice break! Overall a good tour.”

“The ritual was an amazing experience. I would do it over again. The only thing I would change would be to limit the number of people more per time alot, its not that big. The optimal time to go is sunset. Once the sun sets and lights come on, its even more beautiful.”

She made the journey in between sites very memorable and gave us really interesting facts about Iceland and its culture that you wouldn’t normally get to hear, alongside linking in trending songs, movies and TV shows to the places we were visiting. Cannot thank her enough for making the day so enjoyable. All of the view points and activities were incredible and the sky lagoon was great.”

Akureyri: Admission to Forest Lagoon with Towel and Drink

15.Admission to Forest Lagoon with Towel and Drink

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 430 reviews · 1 day · from $82

Forest Lagoon in Akureyri, Iceland. Geothermal pools, Finnish dry sauna, cold plunge, plus a towel and one swim-up bar drink.

“Amazing views, helpful staff and a beautiful venue. Iceland has a lot of things that are very expensive (the taxi to and from the town a 6 minute drive away totalled £30) but this actually felt very good value for money. The swim up bar was also reasonably priced, and no set end time meant you could enjoy it for as long as you wanted. Definitely recommend taking your own towels and swimwear - and a waterproof bag for cameras and phones! You can borrow all of these but that does make the cost rocket quickly.”
